SYNOPSIS:

Decades after humanity fled a dying Earth and reestablished civilization in space, the AIONIC GUARD was born.

The AIONIC GUARD is made up of an elite group of super powered humans, whose duty is to protect what remains of humanity. The AIONIC GUARD handles any threats to humanity's safety as well as continues to explore and research solutions to better this new way of life.

The series follows HALCYON and PRODIGY, the most prestigious teams of the AIONIC GUARD.

SETTING:

2124AD, post-apocalyptic life in space

Main Cast:

ICE, Alessandra Vintersdottir, Captain of HALCYON. She manifests and controls water, principally in the form of ice.

PSION, Peter LaGuardia, Captain of PRODIGY. He has telepathic, telekinetic, and other psionic abilities.

GREENFIELD, founder and creator of the Aionic Guard and the tech they use for powers. He is one of the original architects of the EOS (the new civilization in space) and was instrumental in helping humanity escape a dying planet. He is bonded with an older version of Aionic Tech which has aged him slower than normal. He appears 58, but is over 100 years old. He is also ICE and PSION's adoptive father.

VOLTAGE, Maria Elouan-Ferreira MD, HALCYON's 1st Officer and one of the Chief Medical Officer of the Aionic Guard. She manifests and controls electricity and can absorb and convert energy into electricity.

IMPACT, Dani Raad, PRODIGY's pilot, she uses her force and particle manipulation to create small blasts and amplifies the impact of her melee strikes.

VIROSA (Thief), Amelia Pilz, main antagonist of Vol 1, she has powers of her own based off the Amanita mushroom (deadly poison, creates hallucinations, can transform and travel in spore-form)

Supporting Cast:

MIRAGE, Kamille Yamauchi, PRODIGY's MEDICAL OFFICER, she bends and manipulates light to create illusions.

SHADOW, Kris Yamauchi, HALCYON's pilot, he can control and transform in shadows and has anti-light abilities.

REPO, William Ferreira, HALCYON's engineer*, he can bend and manipulate metal

QUAKE, Adam Aiza, PRODIGY's 1st Officer & Tech Specialist, he can control earth and create "earthquakes"

TECHNOLOGY:

The AIONIC GUARD are enabled powers through a groundbreaking new technology called Aionic Tech.

Aionic Tech is a self renewing, self sustaining crystalline technology, originally meant to act as a power source for any object such as space ships, equipment, electronics, etc. but it was discovered that it can also activate dormant abilities in certain individuals.

The powers activated by Aionic Tech are unique to each user (ie. two different individuals could use the same piece of Tech but would exhibit different abilities). Not all people get powers from Aionic Tech, less than 1% of the population have the “inactive power gene” that the Tech activates.

VOLUME 1 PLOT:

After an unusual bomb explodes at their base and the Aionic Heart (the central core of their technology) is stolen, our main characters are sent on a mission to retrieve the Aionic Heart and find the culprit responsible. To make matters worse, the bomb seems to be made from a new type of technology that has the potential to dismantle everything the AIONIC GUARD are tasked to protect.

SERIES PLOT:

The discovery of the new technology sets the team on a journey which slowly unravels unsettling truths about their own origins.

ICE

Real Name: Alíssandra Vintersdottir
Age: 28
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 130 lbs
Duties: Captain of Halcyon, co-pilot
Powers: Manipulates and manifests water, predominantly in the form of ice.
Description: ICE has blonde hair pulled back into a perfectly groomed ponytail, striking blue eyes, sharp cheekbones. She's tall, muscular yet lean. She is of Scandinavian descent. Brilliant, logical, arrogant, and emotionally inaccessible. She is always keeps her feelings and emotions in check.

- Long blonde hair, pulled back in a ponytail
- Hooded eyes (very little upper eyelid) are icy blue
- long straight nose, comes to slight tip up (typical attractive nose, but not a "cute" nose)
- Above average height, lean, but muscular (Brie Larson in Captain Marvel build), feminine but not very curvy (thin waist, but not curvy hips, average to small chest size - B cup)
- Not super expressive, very stoic in nature

Duties: Pilot of Prodigy
Powers: Force and air elemental. Highly skilled at hand to hand, she likes to combo her powers with a 3 section staff which helps her generate friction which allows her to manifest small fire blasts.
Description: IMPACT has long black hair, light brown skin, is lean and muscular. She is a bit of a flirt, very charming and has a good sense of humor. She's mixed raced, but mostly Maori and persian

Powers: Hallucinations, poisons, teleports (through spores)
Description:  VIROSA is average height, lean, she is mixed race (asian and white), she's a little bit of a sociopath, but has a sense of humor. At the trading post she is heavily cloaked and wearing a mask which covers most of her face. Her costume is mostly white (and could resemble a Amanita mushroom, by having folds and look a little ethereal.)

AIONIC GUARD Trading Post Reference.

I imagine the Trading Post as having lots of vendors and people - sort of like Indiana Jones in Cairo during Raiders of the Lost Arc or when Dr Strange walking through a crowded Indian street market or a little like the Junkyard area where Rey hangs out in the start of Force Awakens.

Some of these are artists depictions, but the idea is Mars and the Moons would be fairly close and should create a beautiful if not claustrophobic feeling
